Cancellation Policy

At True Essence Spa, your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. We kindly ask that you respect our time and policies so we can continue providing a high level of care and service to every client. 1. Cancellation Notice We require at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule any appointment (waxing or facial services). Changes can be made by calling or texting (301) 388-6161 or through our online booking system. 2. Late Cancellations & Rescheduling Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged 20% of the scheduled service total. 3. No-Shows Clients who do not show up for their appointment without notice will be charged 100% of the scheduled service total. Repeated no-shows may require prepayment for future bookings or result in limited booking availability. 4. Late Arrivals We allow a 10-minute grace period. Arrivals beyond this window may result in a shortened service or need to be rescheduled, depending on availability. In this case, it may be treated as a late cancellation and the applicable fee may apply. 5. Booking Deposit A non-refundable deposit is required to secure all appointments. Deposit amounts may vary based on the service and will be applied toward your total balance. Late cancellations, reschedules under 24 hours, and no-shows will result in forfeiture of the deposit. 6. Waxing & Facial Policy Note Due to the nature of waxing and facial services, appointment times are carefully structured to ensure proper skin preparation, treatment, and aftercare. Last-minute changes significantly impact the ability to serve other clients effectively. 7. Our Commitment to You In the rare event we need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we will offer alternative times and extend a courtesy adjustment when applicable as a thank-you for your understanding.
